Job Title:  COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Summary/Objective:  The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and tracking projects related to responding to Customer surveys and compliance activities and projects. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Responding to Customer Surveys
2. Quality Code Reviews
3. Product Environmental Compliance
4. Responsible for all aspects of project tracking on assigned projects:
   1. Defining Scope - process to follow, stakeholders, timelines, ensuring milestones are met and project stays on time.
5. Research and understanding of regulatory and customer specific requirements.  On the job training will be provided. 
6. Work with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate on time implementation of projects i.e. Logistics, Legal, Quality, Engineering, etc…
7. Support Industry Project Managers (Mil/Aero, Medical, Automotive, etc) on the execution of industry specific requirements
8. Support cross-functional Compliance teams such as environmental, safety, trade, etc… on the introduction of regulatory requirements and systems globally.
9. Support global facility personnel for timely execution of programs/projects.  Inclusive of all locations
10. Responding to customer inquiries and maintenance of SalesForce tracking
11. Look for opportunities to continuously improve the efficiency of projects while in process.
12. Support Customer Quality Concern team with investigations and corrective actions as needed.

Required Experience:

1. 3+ Years’ Experience in Compliance or Quality Assurance.
2. Problem solving skills are a must.
3. Must be an effective communicator with both internal & external customers.
4. Need to have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, O365).
5. Understanding/exposure to production processes i.e. injection molding, metal stamping, electro-plating, board processing, PCB, and assembly tooling.
6. Understanding / exposure to production processes in Injection Molding, Metal Stamping, Electro-Plating, Board Processing, PCB and assembly tooling.
7. Global experience is a plus.
8. Familiarity with ISO 14000 and any other ISO standards that would apply globally are preferred.
9. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
